i sometimes questioned myself..

how do our young adults get so easily influenced with the "bad" side?

it really hurts me badly..

when people.. who i love.. a lot..

despite not meeting so often..

ruin their life just like that...

is it the influence from friends?

or from home? their family?

from what i see..

the home is the one which builds a person primarily..

it is the starting mould..

without proper love or care from the family itself..

how would one understand the term of love and care..

not caring whether they would hurt the people around them..

just by watching all this..

i feel dissapointed...

i tried to help. once or twice..

but they gave me too many dissapointments.

that i may have no strength to look in their eyes..

to say that "everything is gonna be alright.."

went shopping at orchard yest with my dear sis....

our travel destinations was wisma.. then to ngee ann.. then ion then a 15 mins last window shopping in far east... hehe... felt like gossip girls.. 2 of us.. walking down orchard road.. with shopping bags in our hands.. ^^

bought a pair of super cute rocker 1 inch pumps...

loving it.. cause from my favourite shoppee.. MITJU..

my sis bought a cute long skirt.. felt like she is trying to be a mermaid (but tak menjadi^^)

and yes.. had a bad experience at etude house..

i'm a fan of etude.. cute make-up casings and cute lip colours and others what nots...

expecially at etude ion.. they will give free gifts upon entering the shop..

so we were like attracted cause we THOUGHT that it was a sample of one of the latest cosmetic line that etude offered (where the box showed the PICTURE of the SKIN BASE).. hence to get that sample. we have to buy something of course. so my sis bought lip balm. costing $9.90 (which she complained too ex.. but to me was reasonable^^).. so when we reached home.. i was so excited while opening the free gift box.. and guess what it was... it was COTTON WOOL!! omg.. layers of COTTON WOOL... COTTON WOOL and COTTON WOOL and COTTON WOOL!! i just couldn't believe this.. full of tricks up their sleeves.. right?? urrrggghh.. i promise myself that i would not fall into this evil business tricks anymore.. =X i shall ask what is inside first.. while looking back.. i sound like a typical singaporean auntie who goes around grabbing free gifts.. hehe.. but hey look.. my self economy isn't that great yet okay..

so this situation is totally passable!!! ^^

now touching a little about k-pop..

(sorry to those who aren't really a fan. but i can't resist!)

i am sure all k-pop lovers or those who are not, might have come across this international hectic situation about park jae beom (JAY) .. he is a leader from a famous k-pop group called 2PM.. and he did some mistakes in the past year.. that made him being kicked out of the group.. and going back to seattle.. it was thought by the avid fans that is temporary.. that he will come back when the situation calms down.. so after waiting for nearly 7 months.. the news broke out last week.. that he is permanently leaving 2PM.. leaving the fans who have been rooting for him for all this months dumfounded and speechless.. and now the fandom community is divided.. most of them are already turning their backs against the group.. believing that the group did not even try to bring him back.. believing that there is a conspiracy within the company.. believing that they did not state the entire truth.. and a certain portion of the rest still supporting the rest of the members (still caring for JAY..)...

in my point of story.. as an avid fan.. whom 2 years ago. saw them on stage singing in front of my eyes.. was definitely heartbroken from all this drama.. not sure what to believe.. and what not.. sure i felt cheated.. i felt as being a fan.. i was used.. felt like they using him as a market strategy.. felt like they are hurting.. ripping off his incredible talent.. however.. being in the rest of the other member's positions as well.. they too feel hurt.. that their strength is gone. i know that they are physically, mentally and emotionally drained despite putting fake smiles everyday.. furthur with the fans accusing them of backstabbing JAY..

it has been almost a week that I have not listened to their songs. which was usually my daily ritual of listening to their voices.. but not now...

just knowing that it would never feel the same way again...

do i miss the real 2PM??

the ones who brought laughter and happy tears in my life??

2010 is here!!!!
there are so many hopeful wishes and goals that i would like to achieve this year..
here is my new year's resolutions:
first and foremost would be that everyone that i love

would stay healthy and blissful as always..
secondly, to be more confident and be more adventurous in taking chances this year..
third, to make my parents proud by entering university.. (my late grandmother as well..)
fourth, to save money so that the whole family could go to korea by 2011!!

haha.. my mum adores nickhun alr!!
fifth, for me to be happy alongside with my dearest family...

this whole entire 3 weeks holiday was really a blessing...

it was a real holiday where i do not need to worry about anything.

angry about anything.. just thinking freely.. and do things at my own pace...

i have never indulge such happiness for myself since the past year..

and this holidays paid it all.....

along this whole holiday.. i might hurt some of my dearest people..

i am so sorry.. i really didn't meant to act like this...

but i have never felt this happy in my days when i do not hear my sms or call ringtone..

(maybe due to that i off my phone in some of the days.... T_T)

its like i am left somewhere in bahamas or some lost island...

however.. i really miss my darl hans.. promise to call u soon kae??? =)

haha.. and the most important thing is when i get to spent 24/7 hours with my family..

which is definitely the greatest thing on earth...

over this past 3 weeks.. i have done a lot of re-thinking on what to do with my life..

after that shocking letter came to my doorsteps..(i am truly honoured!)

seriously i am afraid to grow up... i am afraid to be going into full adulthood..

once you just sit down and really think.. it is a damn scary world out there...

whatever the future may bring to me... i'm going to make sure that i will be up for it..

another year is going to be passed... a new year awaits..

hope it will bring me more adventures and

maybe bring a loved one that i have been waiting for!!

first of all.. i would like to wish singapore happy 44th birthday..
seriously.. i am proud to be a singaporean..

well.. yesterday.. actually was suppose to go to my cousin's place.. for my nephew's 1st birthday party.. yes.. i am an aunty.. and yes. i even have a nephew whose age is just 2 years younger than my sis.. lol..
so the main point is my dearest grandma suddenly had high fever and hallucinations.. seriously.. it definitely made us panic.. seeing her age and the chronic illness she has... so my parents went to stay over at my grandma's place first.. me and my sis went to the party even though so half-heartedly. yes.. and i went with my so cute noisy little cousin who just dunnoe the meaning of a full stop.. haha.. but she is still cute..

however after the party, went to my grandma's place.... she looks better... haven't call her yet todae.. =/

then today.. after the morning prayers.. my grandfather was walking out of the mosque. and a disabled man asked him for help to cross the road.. the my grandfather helped him. as the man was limping.. he put on weight on my father's arms.. causing my grandfather to lose his balance.. and yes he fell.. he fell on his face.. and yes.. the man fell directly on him.. and my grandfather is 89 years old! thank god it was on the side road.. and the most ridiculous of the entire situation is that no one help him! it was infront of the mosque exit and they were beside the busstop.. and yes there were people at the busstop. seriously.. i am so freaking angry... but. thank god.. he is all right.. he is fine.. except for serious bruises on his legs. ouch.. god.. thanks for taking care of him.. =)

wah!! first day of school of the second part of my semester 1, and yes thankfully it is lab management.. the most boring and fun module.. lol.. no need so much stress..

yeah.. at last after 4 months i think..

it is about a girl who ends up in a posession of a robot that is programmed to be her ideal lover..

however.. when time pass by, it creates a love triangle with a handsome guy who has actual feelings for her...

seriously..it is an interesting jap drama.. where to see that the robot actually in time start to have feelings like a human, and start thinking like a real human being.. will the girl really fall in love with the robot or is she going for her crush which actually has feelings for her too?? hmm.. can't wait!

hey!! sorry my preety blog.. haven't been updating you for a while..

so what have been up and about in my life so far??

yesterday.. went out with my little sweetheart to watch 17AGAIN!! seriously, another yet hot and fantastic acting by zac efron.. his acting career is really going a long way.. there were so many emotions when watching this movie, excited, nervous, and touched.. and not to forget hilarious moments that i will never forget. i feel like watching it again.. maybe with nadiah?? have to call her.. okok.. back to the topic.. ZAC EFRON IS TOTALLY FREAKINGLICIOUSLY HOT!!! (snapshots of him from the movie)...

today...

seriously.. my whole family have 3 wonderful meals today...

breakfast: me and my mum made mushroom soup and toasted garlic bread

lunch: my dad cooked kampung fried rice

dinner: i cook grilled dory fish with side of potato crochet and salad...

and for dessert: my mum baked the best carrot cake with cheese topping!!!

this is one of the reasons why i love my family so much..

food is in our blood.. literally cooking i meant..

the satisfaction that you made the food with your own hands and you can see the joy in each other faces is truly indulging... love you mum, dad, and my little sweetheart.. ;)

i have been going out with hans for two days straight...

and it has been one of the most wonderful time that i have spent with her (other than the concert that we went together, and the rest of the other days that we hang out together)..

so what did we do yesterday??

went to NLB for a while to check on our logbooks...

then went to my cousin's place for lunch... hans loves it!! right hans??

and after that we took the bus to the esplanade and we chat there till 6...

i really really really miss her so much ever since she left for cambodia.. lucky girl..

anyways so what did we do today??

met at orchard at 5pm... asking her to accompany me to buy white jeans at far east.. which we initially plan to meet at 4.30pm.. and hans as usual is a lil late due to her reasons, hence met at at 5pm.. so while waiting.. i was browsing through wisma atria..

and i bought her a surprise gift.. (a limited edition!)

what could be any sweeter than having super hot cute matching charm bracelets.. not going to reveal how it looks like.. haha.. have to see it for yourself..

but of course hans is smiling ear to ear and she is still smiling right now.. i know... =)

after buying my pair of jeans, we went back to wisma, as hans nees to go to COTTON ON.. and we glanced upon a new shop, and it was having a storewide sale.. and the clothes there are really super cute...and nothing could be better than we bought clothes there together.. and what was the icing on top of the day was hans bought me the earliest birthday present at that spot of time.. a super cute dress.. that i'm loving so much!! love you hans!! kamsahamida unnie!! sarangheyo!!

i'm so sorry that i haven't been blogging for about a month alr..

maybe there has been too many things going on with my holidays

that i'm too worn out to share it with you guys..

hey people.. so far it has been for a week since i'm working..

seriously.. it was fun.. but the tiredness slowly is overtaking me..

i have been working at my cousin's restaurant.. she needs some extra hands becuase there were too many customers.. so as i have nothing to do at home.. might as well i earn money and at the same time gaining experience.(yeah right..)

so this is what i do there:

1. take orders

2. serve them the plates of food

3. then collect the empty plates

4. and thats it..

it is actually okae for the normal everyday

but once there is a function.. it is super hectic

i'm tired-i'm tired-i'm tired

lol... furthumore with workplace politics..

seriously i am trying to invisible when it comes to this..

haha..... =)

i'm planning to end my work before my birthday

just as the same time as my 2 darlings finish their attachment

hope we can do the fyp well girls...

i love shinhwa!! seriously why i love them and they are the best in k-pop because they sing with their hearts.. this is one of their original written songs that is specially dedicated to their fans.. promising that they will be together forever.. seriously i got teary eyed when i was watching this.. dun worry there is english subs..

i just can't wait to see them back together again!! shinhwa oppas fighting!

went to have dinner with hans just now at bugis...
it was a halal chinese restaurant where she recommended..
and i give 4 stars.. it was super delicious but if only it was spicy..

today was the last day of genetics..
and the problem started off by watching movie..
and guess what... the movie was acually really nice..
the movie called GATTACA. it is really an old movie...
it was released in 1997...
starring ethan hawk and uma thurman..
the movie is all about how genetic studies research

would influence and change the future..
and how you can actually select your own babies..

like the embryo will be free from any diseases..

perfect as you would say..
of course there is a little love story involved,

it was indeed touching at funny at times..

went to have a surprise birthday party for her at her place..

and ladybug cupcakes specially baked by me.. haha.. it was really cute to eat..

It has been three years since we saw each other and the reunion of this two childhood friends was priceless… it was really heartwarming to at last see her.. and the starting of the journey for the day made us broke into laughter as I straight away exclaimed: “SYA!! You grew taller!!” yes yes… that was our opening… love her so much!!
So the first stop is lunch! Went to arab street and eat at ZAM ZAM restaurant.. and of course while eating we fill each other with juicy latest news.. that I personally will tell her only and no one else ever.. =) we were left bloated with both the stories and food!!

And then our expedition of arab street, raffles hotel and esplanade begins…….

today was really a good start for the new year... i'm going to miss you lots.. we had lots of fun.. see you next time! huggies!! ;)
